"Little Santa" visits lineworkers

It was the day of the BIG game between Ohio State and Michigan. The weather was so cold and windy that the electricity had gone out that morning. Nathan and his family, which included five little boys, were looking forward to watching the game so they hooked up a small generator just for the TV.

As they all settled in to watch the game, their mother realized that 7-year-old Ivan, who had dressed up like Santa Claus that morning, was missing. The 8-year-old said that he had seen Ivan walking down their long driveway to where the Logan County Electric Cooperative truck was working on the lines. Sure enough, that was where Ivan was. Little Santa Claus was visiting with the linemen who were telling him all about fixing the lines. He also knew the current score of the OSU-Michigan game and how the team was doing.

I think this was probably the first time that these linemen ever had a visit from Santa Claus while they were working. We appreciate the work these men do, especially on cold, special days.
